Message between 2K - 3K RPMs. So get resonators to eliminate resonance. If you have down and mid pipes, 3" catback WITHOUT resonators, it will be very loud with a lot of resonance. There is a big difference in loudness between 2.5" and 3" cat back systems.
If I had to do it over again, I would get 2.5 cat-back with resonators, down pipes and mid pipes. Of course it would be Labree or Brullen for best performance and looks. Hipers are just to ugly, B&B don't have as good of flow. BTW, Labree and Brullen are SS X-pipe cat-backs. All other are far be hind (yes, I know about good-looking versus ugly welds).
If you are just looking for great sound and not concerned about listening to your stereo, get a 3", x-pipe with resonators, down and pid pipes. Without the resonators, you'll go crazy after a 100 mile road trip with all of the resonance..
Best setup (IMHO) Labree or Brullen 2.5" catback with resonators, Greg Dupree Split down and mid pipes.
